UYN Welcomes You
With warm regard.

You are welcome in this living network where shared purpose yields shared strength.
What happens when two or more “things” do what they do in cooperation?
That’s a good question.
Here’s another:

-anything we choose-
What I mean is that we can choose to create meaning together. Create a whole different world. How big is your vision? What is the passion of your life?
So look at some definitions.
(Operation) - the fact or condition of functioning or being active.
(Cooperation) - the fact or condition of functioning or being active – together.
Or,
The process of working together to the same end.
Let’s talk philosophy and then structure
Philosophy:
We are living in the outcomes of greed. That is the world that our physical eyes see.
But greed is measured. Dollars and Power. It is finite.
Generosity is infinite in nature. It has no measure.
Generosity can transform everything, and we are making it our right and privilege to prove it.
Our Little Experiment:
The Cooperative we build is a “social experiment” with a paradigm based on cooperation, equality, natural law, and generosity.
Each of us sees generosity in the same light.
Even though we are all different and maintain that our differences are important, the truth of generosity is accepted as truth.
We choose generosity as the root motivation for everything we do.
We may even have to confront our own greed. But we will do it generously and with compassion.
Combined with generosity for our motivation, we choose cooperation as the means of our production.
Since we are talking about production now, let’s move on to discussing structure.
Structure
Have you heard of this?
The Pareto Principle (aka the 80/20 rule).
It’s proven to work. And it’s existence also hinders organizations. Since we don’t want to be hindered, we are choosing to use it as a tool for success instead.
We are building a team of 25 owner-members.
For the first team:
Applying the Pareto Principle to 25 owner-members:
20 of the members are the marketing team. That is their primary responsibility. They pass on what is given to them into their social media. Everywhere. They become a nuisance as ambassadors for the new paradigm.
There will be tasks they can choose to do, but nothing is mandatory to them.
This honors the 80/20 rule because 20 is 80% of 25. And our 20 will do the marketing and whatever tasks they choose. So, instead of starting off thinking that the work will be somehow shared equally, we start with reality.
It’s simpler that way, don’t you think.
So, the five that are left:
These member-owners get the work done. Out of the five, there will be one or two who shoulder the burden of many things. And the other three will cooperate with everything they can do.
That is the structure.
It’s a scalable model too!
We are building a model that can scale. The cooperative starts at 25 members. That is the team. We may even choose a name for our team.
I am partial to the Denver Honey Badgers.
But once the model is proven, then we can scale with another team. We scale up to 100 teams of 25.
We may not decide to go that far.
That is as far as I would ever want to go.
So that is it for now.
Oh, here’s this:
Miscellaneous Philosophy #1
You should never take advice from someone who isn’t where you want to be.

For real…
So, our response to this miscellaneous philosophy is to always find mentors who are where we want to be.
For instance, Mark Lewis will help us with corporate tax structures.
Joi Hunt will help us secure grants and loans.
We are already connected to a local nonprofit that helps small to medium size businesses get started.
This is a philosophy that we breathe by.
Okay, last but not least.
Since you have come this far, I should let you know that this newsletter is our company’s internal public relations newsletter. It’s where we keep track of our direction and make sure that the important things don’t get missed.
Get ready to write here if that is something you like to do.
What is important to us?
Well, tbh, everything that is important to any of us is important to all of us. That could be a miscellaneous philosophy, but I don’t want to start counting.
Your individual passion and vision for what is possible can be made to happen within this framework. And we are here to help make any and everything happen. We get to choose.
We also have a “consumer-facing” newsletter, but I’m not ready to reveal it yet. I’ll let you know.
So, if you haven’t subscribed to the newsletter yet, and you want to be a part of this movement, then go to the link below and subscribe.
That’s it. Short and sweet.
